Belva – beautiful lhasa mix girl
Belva is a beautiful, graceful girl. She is totally blind and totally fearless. She will find her way into your heart. She likes to play ball, even throwing it for herself and finding it, but of course can’t compete with sighted dogs. She loves walks, car rides, and cuddles. Belva will explore and runs into things, but it doesn’t bother her. She just keeps on going!
Personality Plus should be her nickname. Despite limited eyesight Belva explores and lives life to the fullest. She is adorable and adoring, playful, gets along well with other humans and canines, smart and funny, good for her bath, in the car, on walks, and for grooming. She likes to be close and lets you know when she needs a cuddle. Belva likes a lot of attention. She is very aware of her surroundings and even uses her other senses to play ball! She has a perky trot and holds her head high. Belva is a very soft white with gray patches.
Because of her blindness, most adopters are not interested. We will keep her in our forever foster program as long as she is healthy, but she does have monthly and annual vet bills and needs help with those.
Belva needs around $100 a month, for her vet visits and meds while she is in our program. She is looking for five people to subscribe to donate only $20 a month for her.
