BINDIE WORTH – is this not the cutest tzu ever?
Bindie Worth was rescued from Animal Control on 9/2/7. She and her sister were picked up 8/20/7. Their owner went to claim them but when he found out he would have to pay to get them out of jail….he turned around and walked out. Bindie’s sister was adopted on 8/27/7. Once her sister was gone Bindie stopped eating and quickly developed a cough which led to a URI. She was scheduled for euthanasia on 9/4/7. I received a phone call from the Shelter on 9/2/7 begging us to take her as her date was moved up due to people turning over “strays” with the same color leash as their collar. They simply did not have room for her and due to her becoming ill she was no longer available for public adoption.
Bindie is a tiny Tzu mix weighing all of 5 lbs and is about 1 yo. She has a tiny head and body and the longest legs you have ever seen on a dog her size. We are calling her the Shih Raffe. She takes full advantage of those long legs but wrapping them around your neck to hold you still for kisses.
On 9/5/7 Bindie was taken to the vet due to her persistent cough and lack of appetite. She received meds to clear up the URI. While she has regained her appetite she still has a horrible cough that will take some time to resolve. But she has been feeling well enough to play with her foster siblings.
We need to raise $200.00 for Bindie’s ER visit and follow up. Hopefully, she will improve considerable in the next week so that she can receive the rest of her vetting to include spay, HW test and vaccinations.
