Webster Hills was rescued from the  Animal Shelter with only hours to spare before he was to be euthanized.  He is a jet black Tzu with a rather interesting set of teeth.  I don’t think any of them are straight but this only adds to his cuteness.  He was only available to rescue groups because he had sustained an injury to his neck that required 3″ of stitches.  The injury is believed to be the result of a dog bite.   Oddly enough, animal control picked him up wondering around in front of a hospital!! 

Unfortunately, although the shelter vet stitched his large, gaping wound up, he developed an abscess along his jaw at the top of his injury.  He was rushed to a 24hr clinic lastnight where he was given an antibiotic and pain/anti-inflammatory medication.  The vet is hopefully the meds were administered early enough that they will go to work and fight the infection.  However, if the area is not considerably better in a few days he will need to return to have the abscess drained.

Despite the attack and infection, Webster is an absolute JOY.  He is a happy, playful and obeys very well.  He loves to play with his foster siblings and enjoys getting kisses.  The only problem is once you start the kisses you are in for the long haul!!

For this little boy, we need to raise around $250 for his ER visit and followup.  He will soon be well enough to be vetted and find a new home.  Please help!
