LE’POODLEY HAS HAD HER SURGERY!!!
Ah, my internet is back up. Darn, how helpless we are without communication tools. Seems someone in a backhoe cut a huge fibre cable in Austin and most of the Comcast network was down for several hours this afternoon. Ok, update on Le’Poodley. The surgeon called to say that she came out of anesthesia well and has feeling in both back legs. It’s way too early to know if she will walk, but this is a good report for now. Becky(another foster mom) stopped by and took pictures and got tons of Le’Poodley kisses. Enough for all of you.
We didn’t quite get all the donations needed to get her out of debt on Monday, when she needs to go home, but we went ahead anyway. Call me a BIG SUCKER for these dogs. Oh well, as I’ve said several times this week, “just shoot me now!!” Please don’t wait until the bills come in! LOL
Ok, check here tomorrow morning for new pics of Ms. Le’Poodley and her new fixed back. Fingers, toes and paws crossed that she will regain use of those cute little legs.
