Recent Adoptions!! Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apsos

The last time I summarized adoptions was around April 11, over a month and a half ago. Just so you know we don’t just sit around looking for ancient and injured dogs to bring in, we also spend countless hours getting these little fluffs adopted!! Here are the dogs that have been adopted since April 11.

CHARRO WORTH - yes you got it right, our little ICU dog now has a great home in the DFW area. She has two fluff brothers, Chigger and Chachacha to keep her in line and she needs it! Thanks to all of you that donated for this very deserving girl to get her through that horrible bout with pneumonia. After spending several days in ICU, she is now at her new home building strength!!

BIJOU HARRIS AND ROSALITA LOVE WEST - These two lucky gals are now sisters living in the San Antonio area with two other siblings and a doting “mom” and “dad.”

The beautiful Bok Choy, wonder dog. Check out her BEFORE pictures and you’ll see why. This lucky little gal is healed and is now a resident of the beautiful Kenner, Louisiana. And she has a pesky younger brother.

SWEET MARTINA TURNER. Turned in at only 5 months old because her mom didn’t have time. Martina was a Christmas puppy and is a great example of why we aren’t supportive of dogs as gifts. She is now a happy, healthy little girl living in Katy, TX.

HAMLET FLOWER dug his way into the heart of his foster mom and made her fail fostering 102. He is the most cute resident of Dallas, TX.

MARS HARRIS is one lucky boy. After catching the eye of an avid shih tzu lover in , Mr. Mars’ new “godmother” made a weekend trip to Houston and back to bring this baby boy home. Talk about living in the lap of luxury!!

MAVERICK TURNER had angels looking over his shoulder when his ”prior” owner started having him groomed by Pampered Pets Mobile Grooming, owned by our foster mom Peggie. After his owner got tired of him, Peggie was right there on her doorstep picking up Maverick within minutes!! Didn’t take this one long to get picked for adoption. New resident of Alstyne, TX!

BRIE - we didn’t think this senior would ever find a home. She makes us know that all dogs will have a chance at happiness.

LEO and DAGEN - this pair is another example of “FOSTER FAILURES.” So many times, the foster family just falls in love with their little temporary wards. Leo and Dagen are two lucky little fluffs.

TOOTIE COLLINS and ELMO OAKS are now siblings. Living in the laps of luxury in Alpine, TX.

DAWSON DAVIS - this little boy’s story is so complicated. He came to us last year, with paralyzed back legs - after surgery at Gulf Coast Veterinary Hospital to remove the disc material, he recovered nicely. Then, boom, he had bladder stones and had to have surgery. After recovering from that, a family in Phoenix just couldn’t live without him!
