Hi! My name is Sedona and I am new to Lone Star. I am a 5 year old Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso girl. I had bladder stones and needed surgery to remove them. I had that surgery and am now healthy and very happy! I love to play with toys and I will even play fetch and bring the toy back to you for more! I am also cuddly and affectionate with my foster mom and dad and I also love my foster brothers and sisters. Watch for my Petfinder page soon and think about ME as part of your family!
Hello! My name is Tayla and I am one lucky little lady. I am a beautiful black and white Shih Tzu girl who was rescued in the nick of time from one of the local shelters. I am very sweet and loving and am definitely a lap dog. My foster mom’s lap is absolutely the best place for me to be!! I am Heartworm positive and will start treatment soon. But once my treatment is finished I will be up for adoption. And I will have my very own Petfinder page! Watch for me!
My name is Concho and I am a beautiful 1 ½ year old Shih Tzu boy. My coat has very unusual coloring. It is tan and charcoal brindle with white markings and everyone says I am quite handsome!
I am very vocal and will talk, talk, talk. My foster mom and dad are learning all my little sounds. I can bark, squeak, grunt, make a sound like a seal and also cry! I think it’s kind of fun watching Mom and Dad try to figure out what I am telling them! Basically, I am a good guy, cuddly and sweet and happy to be here. Watch for my Petfinder page soon!
My name is Tulip and I am a very lucky 5 year old Shih Tzu girl. I never knew that a dog could have a good life. You see, I was a puppy mill dog, living in a crate and having babies. Then the wonderful folks at Lone Star found me. I now have a foster family to love me and take care of me. I am still very scared and skittish and even the littlest sound scares me a bit. But, I’ve just been in foster care for 2 weeks so I’ve got a lot to learn.
I do know that walks around the block, treats, and sitting in my foster mom’s lap are things I never experienced before. And I know that I LOVE them! My goal is to just be a happy dog. It may be a while before you see me on Petfinder and before I’m ready for adoption, but I guarantee you, it will be worth the wait!
