Ryder TC – shih tzu with horrible dry eye

Posted in Uncategorized at 8:17 pm by Administrator

Ryder came to our Shih Tzu Rescue program in November 2005.  Another elderly little dog left at a shelter to die.  He is about 12 years old and doesn’t see or hear well at all.

Due to his senior years and handicaps, he has been passed over time and time again by potential adopters.  So it looks like his last “home” will be as a foster child in our program.

Ryder needs five people to sponsor his ongoing monthly medicine expense for only $20 a month.  Please consider subscribing to sponsor little Ryder.  You can do it via an automatic Paypal withdrawal HERE.  If you would rather send a check, you can do it HERE.

Ryder currently has 0 sponsors.

Ryder has made me fall in love with seniors. I have never had a dog appreciate the simple things so much. All he wants is food, bed, water and room to run – well lope in his case – in the back yard. He literally smiles as he takes his strolls around the house.

His hair grows like a weed, so I will postpone a new photo. He is a gorgeous, proud, independent Lhasa boy. Now that he is around 14, he may not have much time left with us, but he is making the most of each day and shows his appreciation with a grunt and a smile.
