Manchui came to our rescue with a bad infection in his one remaining eye. We do not know what happened to his other eye - just that it was already gone when we rescued him. Unfortunately, the vet was not able to save the infected eye and he had to have it removed. It was so sad when we realized this little boy would have to live the rest of his life in darkness. He doesn’t seem to mind, though, and gets around wonderfully.

It is amazing how a little blind dog can ’see’, but this little guy does. Every day he goes to work with his foster mom, who is a groomer. He has learned the lay out of her work and knows how to get around it. He even goes to the back door to be let out when he needs to go potty. He knows right where it is! He uses his ears to sound out where things are and where the other dogs around him are. He rarely misses what he is looking for. He is a true inspiration.
