Say hello to Jennings Galvez

This adorable wonderful little guy came to us from a south Houston shelter.  We intitially saw that his skin was a mess, he had horrible cataracts and infected pus dripped from his ears.

After many months on medicines, high-quality food and supplements, Jennings is making progress.  Not enough progress, though to make him adoptable.  He is 99% blind, but once he finds his way around, you’d never know it.  He also is totally deaf.  He also needs daily meds and expensive supplements to keep his skin from erupting with infected, dripping sores.

This is one sweet boy, I cannot believe how neglected he had been before coming to the rescue.

Initially, Jennings made progress with daily ivomec, a standard treatment for demodex.  But, he continued to get outbreaks once off the medicine so we also started boosting his immune system with massive doses of supplements from our homeopathic vet, Dr. Patricia Cooper.  He is slowly building up and feels better than ever.  But his treatment and supplements are very expensive – they run about $150 a month.

Jennings needs around $150 a month, for his vet visits and meds while he continues to heal.  He is looking for six people to subscribe to donate only $25 a month for him.  If you are interested in being one of his sponsors while he remains in our program, you can subscribe via paypal HERE or if you would rather send a check, you can do it HERE.

Today, Jennings has 0 sponsors.
