Ishmael’s History
When we first got Ishmael in early May 2006, we felt certain he was not going to make it. He was terribly thin, had a massive upper respiratory infection and looked like he was in heart failure. He stayed hospitalized for weeks on IVs. Thankfully, Ishmael is a survivor and pulled through.
This is his picture from the shelter just before we picked him up.
