I have two shih-tzu already and think that all animals deserve room to live out their lives... I have room for another dog so that is not the problem, but I could not afford to go to Texas for a dog, is there some one that you would suggest to contact here in Nebraska. Foster care is something my folks did with kids as I grew up so this is not a strange idea for me but rescue is something the local animal shelter does not understand. He has left a hole in my heart along with the love I still have for both these wonderful babies. I hope he is feeling better and the two of them have picked up right where they left off. Now, Reyna's story as especially touched my heart as my darling Barkley who went to the bridge in 9/06 battled Cushing's disease, among the numerous other medical problems he had, for about 8 years. I would like to provide some help with Reyna's medical bills on a permanent basis. What would be the best way to do that?
