CELINE
My name is Celine and I am an 8 year old, beautiful, golden-haired Lhasa Apso mix with very expressive brown eyes. I live in a quiet world and my big brown eyes help me to know what is going on around me. I am deaf, and I have a touch of arthritis, but this does not stop me from enjoying my life! I never miss a thing that goes on in my foster home, particularly when my foster mom happens to be in the kitchen!! I like to be there just in case some little treat might “drop” my way!
I tend to keep to myself and I also tend to sleep quite a bit. Because I have arthritis, I don’t like to be held, but I love to be petted and I also love when my foster mom combs my hair. I will nudge you with my paw to let you know I want some loving and attention! Probably my most favorite thing to do is to be outside basking in the sunshine. I love to trot along the fence line with my head and tail held high until I find just the right spot. I then lay down to watch my brothers and sisters romp and play. I also love to watch the birds. I sniff the breeze, I feel the sun on my back, and eventually I fall asleep! Life is definitely good!!
When my foster mom tells me it’s time to go into the house, I hurry to the door to be the first one in. I happen to LOVE my little dog bed in the living room and don’t want any of my siblings to get there before me!!
I also must tell you that I have great potty manners and never have an accident in the house. Mom is quite proud of me!
Even though I am a Forever Foster, I would love to find a forever family to love. Preferably it would be without children because I scare easily due to my deafness. I think the perfect place would be an apartment or a condo with one or two adults to love and take care of me.
I do take some medicine daily, but I am very good about this. I am also altered, up-to-date on all my shots and am heartworm negative.
