CASE – I’VE BEEN ADOPTED!!!
My name is Case and I am one very special youthful gentleman. I am a 4 year old white and black Lhasa Apso who has a serious medical condition. That’s why I am in the Forever Foster program, but I also have my own Petfinder page just in case someone would like to adopt me and let me be a part of their family.
I have what’s called Lissencephaly. That’s a very long name for a condition that has to do with my brain. Instead of all the grooves a normal brain has, mine is smooth. That makes me have strange spells and it is obvious to everyone that when I’m having a spell, I am in lots of pain. I take medication for this disorder and it seems to help, but there is no cure for my disease and it will continue to cause me problems for the rest of my life. You would never know by my disposition that I have this problem as I am a very happy younger dog and I live as normal a life as possible. My foster mom says that I’m just like a gentle teddy bear who loves everyone and everything. I particularly like other dogs and when I’m feeling good I love to play with them. My foster mom takes me to Deogi (that’s a Doggie Day Care Center that helps us, in case you didn’t know) to be with the other dogs. She says that I do a great job of showing all the new kids around and making them feel at home. Also, since I am such a big teddy bear, that means I love to be loved, petted and get lots of attention. I will give you all that attention in return!!!
One thing that my foster mom says about me is that I am not the brightest bulb in the bunch. She says that I can get easily confused and that I need some structure in my life to help me get by. One thing I don’t get confused about is the fact that I am perfectly housebroken!! I am VERY proud of that feat! I am altered, up-to-date on all my shots and am heartworm negative.
If you think you might be interested in hearing more about me, please contact my foster mom at sherry352@sbcglobal.net. Don’t forget to look at my Petfinder page too. If you aren’t able to adopt me or another one of the Forever Foster dogs, please consider a donation to our Forever Foster program. We would all be very appreciative of that!!
