ADOPTED Forever Fosters
9 year old, puppymill survivor, very shy- ADOPTED!!!!
Wow, when we picked Bok up at the pound, she looked horrible. Classic horrible outside-dog black, thickened skin. Obviously came from a breeder situation- stuck in the back yard cranking out puppies- but now her skin is healed, her eyes are recovering from massive infections, but still, she’s a bit too old for most adopters-around 12. ADOPTED!!!!
Absolutely adorable shih tzu who came to us as part of a cruelty bust of a puppymill in North Texas. Chronic demodex. ADOPTED!!!!
Sweet, tiny little four year old Shih Tzu boy with severe arthritis. ADOPTED!!!!
Very cute, very nice, very small dog. Another whose forver foster status puzzles us. Very sweet boy, he does have cataracts and perhaps that is why no one is interested in him. ADOPTED!!!!
Sweet boy, only about three years old. Rescued from the local pound, Cinder has evidently had a stroke and has some significant nerve damage in his back legs. This has resulted in almost NO interest in little Cinder, therefore he is in our forever foster program. ADOPTED!!!!
ADOPTED!!!!
Sweet little trouper who was not predicted to make it much longer after being rescued. Went through a tumor removal surgery and over came some heart problems. ADOPTED!!!!
A very nice, larger, blonde terrier/lhasa mix girl. We went to the shelter to pick up as lhasa, but couldn’t leave this pitiful one behind. Over 10 years, but with some significant years left. ADOPTED!!!!

I realize you are in Texas, but I would like to be a foster Mom for a dog in my area. I have two shih-tzu already and think that all animals deserve room to live out their lives… I have room for another dog so that is not the problem, but I could not afford to go to Texas for a dog, is there some one that you would suggest to contact here in Nebraska. Foster care is something my folks did with kids as I grew up so this is not a strange idea for me but rescue is something the local animal shelter does not understand. Special needs are ok….Thanks Joanna
