PRANCER – I’VE BEEN ADOPTED!!!
My name is Prancer, but my foster family calls me “Havi”. They call me that because I might be a Havanese or at least part Havanese. But, Prancer also suits me because I do have a certain “prance” to my walk!! Actually, if there’s a treat involved, I would be happy to answer to any name!!!
I am a 2 year old young lad, 18 or so pounds, and have a white coat with tan markings. I am quite tall and have long legs. My foster mom says that I am very sweet and gentle. I enjoy taking naps on the couch or in my little dog bed. I also enjoy attention and love to be loved. So…….if I’m on the couch with you, I always ask for pets and tummy rubs!! Don’t think I am a couch potato. I also love to be outside playing with my toys, playing fetch or taking long walks.
I really love to play with my foster brothers and sisters, so I would love to find a forever home that would have another young dog for me to play with. I tend to play with vigor so my doggie playmates need to understand that. Maybe a little bigger dog than me would be just perfect. Because I play so hard, it would be better that my forever home NOT have young children (8 years or younger). It’s not that I would intentionally hurt them, but I might just play a little too rough for them.
I am completely housebroken and doggie door trained. My foster mom says that I am quite smart. I have a little bit of a stubborn streak, but that’s just because I am a curious young lad. My forever family needs to make certain that they are consistent and firm with me so my stubborn streak is kept in check. I am obedient and I always come when I am called. I also learned how to sit in just 2 days! I don’t bark very much, but I will let you know when a visitor arrives! Once you tell me that person is OK, I will welcome them into the house and be their friend.
