BRIDGETTE - I’VE BEEN ADOPTED!!!
My name is Bridgette and I am a VERY special Shih Tzu/Westie lady. I am 8-9 years old and I weigh 14 pounds which makes me just the perfect size to end up in your lap getting hugs and kisses. And, if you pick me up to hug me, I will put my front paws around your neck and give you a hug back!
I may be mature, but I definitely do not act my age! In fact, I run circles around my foster siblings and always make sure that I am in the front of the pack, just so I don’t miss a thing going on. I am just a very active gal who needs to make certain that all is well around me.
My foster mom made a video of me and if you click on my Petfinder page, you can see it. I think I am quite cute in it!! You can see that I know my name and will come running with a definite purpose in mind when Mom calls me. Mom says that I am like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. I am just busy, busy, busy. I am great with other dogs and I like children also, but they need to be old enough to respect me and my age. All I want is a family, single person, or couple, to love me forever!!
I am very healthy and only have the beginnings of cataracts. I did have bladder stones when I first came to Lone Star, but I have fully recovered from those. Hi I’m just enquiring for a friend who is looking for a shih tzu. She moved down to Wales about a year ago after her husband died and would now love a little companion I suggested a shih tzu as they seem to have very nice natures I have a golden cocker spaniel who is 13 and has been a nightmare over the years with her vicious behaviour. I wonder can you tell me is Bridgette still up for adoption, I’m not quite sure how it works as other sites I have been on are asking for abot £140 which my friend as a pensioner does not have (shes only 62 though!!) and where abouts are you . Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I am writing on her behalf as she does not have a computer and I’ve been looking it up for her. Best Regards Linda
