SANTANA - I’VE BEEN ADOPTED!!!
My name is Santana and I think I am a Shih Tzu/Poodle Mix. I am about 1½ years old and I weigh 12 pounds. I have the prettiest honey-colored short coat. When it grows out to full length, it will be silky and shiny and I will look even prettier than I do now.
I am very loving and well-behaved. I am also a very happy dog who enjoys life. I love, love, love to be with people. When my foster mom and I go on a walk I greet all the neighbors and look forward to pets and attention from them. I also love my foster brothers and sisters and enjoy playing with them, but my very favorite playmates are people. If I had my choice, I would be in a forever home with older children who would play and play with me. Younger children are a bit too rambunctious for me. I do love other dogs, and I am used to playing with dogs, so I really need a home that has another young dog to be my friend. In fact, I would love a forever home with BOTH older kids and a dog…. WOW, that would be perfect!!
I am also a very intelligent little dog and my foster mom says that I am perfectly house trained. I don’t have a favorite toy to play with. I just love to be around people and other dogs. That’s the perfect pastime for me. I want so much to love and be loved. I promise that if you bring me into your home I will be a good girl and be your best friend.
