Hi!
Just saw your "baby's" picture (12/31/06). Did you get enough financial help for him?

If you were to meet Beeker now, you would never know he has had any problems. He runs, shakes his toys, and runs with his foster siblings. I truly feel his life expetency has increase by many years. We are controling his breathe with antibiotics and an additive to his water. We are trying to prolong putting him under anesthesia - and its working nicely.

Just got Mr. Beeker groomed and you can really tell he has reached an excellent weight. Unfortunately, his breathe is horrible, so we suspect more infection which we feel is causing some grumpiness. However, he is still a little miracle and a great little guy to come home to.

Beeker is a true miracle in action. When he came to us, his teeth were so bad, he couldn't even eat canned food. His heart was enlarged with fluid and and he was a pure skeleton. Though his likelihood to survive dental surgery was 50/50, we opted to take the risk, as he had no quality of life.

WELL the risk paid off and he is full of spunk now. He plays with toys and likes to snuggle. You just have to get used to a growl when you pick this little muppet up. He love to sleep close to you and give lots of kisses. He will be on medication forever, but otherwise acts like a normal, healthy pup in all other aspects. He is a great and entertaining companion who deserves a home of his very own.
